| Inga was without a doubt the Flat Coat that put the breed on the 'map' in Australia. She was our first Swedish import and she was our foundation bitch as well as being one of the biggest winning Flat Coated Retrievers in Australian History! Her record includes: 1 Runner up in Show All Breeds Championship show. 8 Royal Best of Breeds, 3 Runner Up To Best of Breed 12 Royal Show Challenges. 5 Best in Group, 6 Runner up In Group 14 Class in Group awards. Inga was the first ever Grand Champion Flat Coated Retreiver in Australia and she finished her title by Winning Best in Group at Perth Royal, another breed first. As well as being an outstanding show dog in her own right, she was also the dam of Gr Ch Bushman Burn Eternally NRD who is still the breed record holder in Australia for show ring success and she is in all the current top winning Flat Coats pedigree in Australia! We consider ourselves so lucky to have had such a wonderful bitch set us in the right direction in the breed! |
