In June 2010 Bling won his 29th Best Exhibit In Group Award and has become the biggest winning Flat Coated Retriever in Australian History! EVERY kennel needs a little 'Bling'.... Meet ours! Huge thanks to our wonderful friend Mathilda Luckner who carefully chose Bling from a litter of 8 males and then socialised and cared for him until the moment she put him on the plane! From the very first time this dog stepped into the show ring, he was a winner! Just 1 week out of quarrantine he won his first two Best Baby Puppy in Group awards! Since then he has set breed records in Australia that will be hard to beat! At just 23 months old, after a truly amazing year, Bling finished his Australian Grand Champion title, becoming the youngest Flat Coated Retreiver in Australia to do so. Bling won Flat Coated Retriever Puppy of the Year in 2008 FCRCV and in 2009 he won No 1 Flat Coated Retriever in Australia in both dogzonline competitions and was awarded the FCRCV Flat Coated Retriever of the Year. In March 2010 Bling set another Australian breed record, becoming the only Flat Coat in Australia to win 4 All Breeds Best in Show awards. To date, at just 2 1/2 years old, Bling has won an impressive 33 Best Exhibit In Group awards, 5 All Breeds Best in Show, 2 Runner up in Show, 2 Best in Show Gundog Specialty and 25 Class in shows. Bling is currently No 1 Gundog in Victoria! We are extremely grateful to the judges, who have appreciated the important breed characteristics 'Bling' possesses and awarded him so highly. Bling has a beautiful temperament, is a joy to live with and I appreciate every day how lucky I am to own and handle such an amazing dog. |
