| William's sire, who was the most successful Flat Coated Retriever in the Show ring in Australia to date, Gr Ch Bushman Burn Eternally NRD (Blaze) died just two weeks after the litter was conceived. William hit the show ring, determined to follow in his father's footsteps! He won many class in group and in show awards and gained his show title at just sixteen months old beating many older Flat Coats including his successful kennel mates along the way. He won Flat Coated Retriever Puppy of the Year 2004 (Flat Coated Retriever Association) Not a bad effort seeing he spent only 5 months that year in the show ring! He was Best Minor Puppy in Show at the Flat Coated Retriever Associations Open and Championship Shows in 2004. William is the result of a double up on our first import and top winning bitch, Gr Ch Almanza Better Than Ever (imp Swed). Hips 0 / 0 Elbows 0 / 0 William has continued his success through 2005 with multi class in group and class in show awards. He was also reserve dog CC winner at the Royal Melbourne Show in 2005, beating many older dogs in the process. William is now retired from the show ring and living with his new family and enjoying his retirement |
